Glass Wool Insulation

Product image

Glass wool insulation is created by heating glass to over 1400°C and spinning it into many tiny fibres. These fibres trap air between them which enables amazing insulating properties. Typically supplied in rolls or batts but also available as blowing wool.

We stock glass wool insulation from Knauf. Earthwool Loft Roll 44 offers excellent thermal insulation, available in various thicknesses with a thermal conductivity of just 0.044W/mK. Earthwool FrameTherm 35 has been designed for use with timber frame walls, while Earthwool Acoustic Roll has been specifically designed to insulate sound in residential buildings.
