The Trex Groove Cutter Router Bit allows solid edged boards to have the hidden fastening sytem installed. Square edge boards require traditional screws for installation but a Trex hideaway groove cutter can be used to route a groove into the side of any traditional board to accommodate the hidden fastening system.
Ideally suited for starter boards and steps and used where the grooved edge boards are running into a square edge perimeter board but still needs fixing by the hidden system.
