Grange Side Entry Lap Gate made from waney edge slats. The wooden gate is suitable for hanging on either left or right side. Pressure-treated in golden brown for protection against wood rot.
Installation
- Align the gate between the posts
- Insert a 50mm packer beneath the gate
- Account for any unevenness in the ground
- Position wedges on both sides of the gate to facilitate hinge installation
- Install hinges and then remove wedges to test the gate's swinging motion
- Mount the latch at the desired height
- Securely attach a gate stop to the frame/post to safeguard hinges and latch from potential damage
