Hammerite Direct to Rust Smooth Finish Metal Spray Paint Aerosol

Hammerite have specially formulated their direct to rust paints to perform as a primer, undercoat and topcoat in one. Available in a handy aerosol can to offer quick and easy application on metal surfaces such as doors, garden furniture, gates and railings to name a few. This smooth finish spray paint can be applied directly to rust and dries quickly to a flawless high sheen finish. Hammerite Direct to Rust Smooth Aerosol Spray Paint is available in a range of colours including Blue, Black, Yellow, Red, Dark Green, White, and Silver.

Application

Before applying Hammerite Hammered Direct To Rust Metal Paint - Aerosol test a small area to ensure you are happy with the colour and finish.

• Spray a test patch of Hammerite Direct to Rust Metal Paint onto painted surfaces and leave for 1 hour.
• If there is no reaction apply Hammerite Direct to Rust Metal Paint directly to surface.
• If there is a reaction remove all paint before applying Hammerite Direct to Rust Metal Paint.
• For best results store the aerosol at room temperature for two hours prior to use.
• Shake can vigorously in a vertical motion, until the agitator ball is heard and continue to shake for a further 3 minutes.
• Spray in light even strokes from a distance of 15cm to avoid runs.
• Do not concentrate spray on one spot.
• Apply at least 3-4 coats for maximum protection.
• Allow 15 minutes between coats .
• Between coats invert can and spray for 2 seconds to avoid blockages.
• Touch dry 15 minutes, recoat after 15 minutes.
